An endearing lost-and-found documentary on an artist, Rodriguez, that never got big and who's apparently lost a lot of royalties to record companies, this is a beautifully photographed documentary that is tight, gains momentum at the right moment and is boosted by a very zen-ish central character, but (in my opinion) lacks oomph to make it great. Still, it's righteous to see Rodriguez finally get some more cred (and hopefully money, even though he doesn't seem to crave it).

An enlightening and summary approach to the so-called "war on drugs" in the USA. A lot of myths are squashed and truths are told by people like David Simon (creator of "The Wire") and Charles Bowden (writer, author of the brilliant book "Murder City: Ciudad Juarez and the Global Economy's New Killing Fields") where the US government is attacked, especially on why it's still carrying on with its 1980s agenda against drugs, considering that it's not working. The end of the documentary is a bit strained

This is a modern-day, serves-you-right Shakesperian reality-yet-not-reality tragedy. An extremely wealthy family is hit by an economic recession and can't seem to fathom the human factors of life, only the glossy veneer of their former mundane existence. This might be the best view of economic horror and humanity since "Inside Job".
This is a great partner to "Paradise Lost 3", which is the third installment of the trilogy that makes the documentary of the West Memphis Three, e.g. three young teenage boys who were judged as murderers in lieu of the real killer(s). Where this film is at its worst too skipping in time, it makes up for in spades where tempo, humanity and questioning the bad is concerned. A slew of people are interviewed and as the film progresses, we're thrown into the arms of Terry Hobbs, the stepfather of one

This documentary/event is too good to miss. A child goes missing in the USA and a few years later, his family receives a call from Spain, where authorities state that they've found the child. I shan't say more, but suffice to say, this has its share of suspenseful twists and turns and displays beautiful cinematography and a masterful use of tempo.

Exceptional movie that blends serious issues with a dose of warm humour. Must see!

This is a hard documentary to stomach both from human, judicial and political views. We get to see the every day existence of American military veterans who have been raped and then disbelieved by their own and then discarded like trash, left to pick up the pieces of themselves with little money to do so. This documentary exposes the many flaws in the take-care-of-your-own inner workings of the American military so-called justice system; women are often systematically treated like shit if they report

This film is very true to original events. I shan't say what goes down, but it's enough to know that it hammers in the fact that questioning "facts" is a must. Overlooking what actually happens in the film, this is almost a metaphor for other things, e.g. religion and a judicial system. Good acting, especially from the manager and the phoner.

Interesting story that seemed to get lost along the way. Very good performances by the cast

Solid amounts of time spent navigating Super Mario in the '90s did not make me a huge fan of video games. This mustachioed plumber was both - a great entertainer and timewaster. Co-directors of documentary Indie Game: The Movie (2012) Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky do not try to advocate possible benefits of video games either. They let us witness final stages of few independent games development, giving thorough insight of what it feels like to be on the outskirts of the ever growing 10-digit

the trailer looks amazing!

Good concept of showing how the power of authority influences people (Americans). A few cool ideas like constant switching between fast food kitchen and the back office with weird stuff happening (involving naked boobs). But the acting and the script killed it.
