A movie of great length has the advantage to be able to tell all sides of the story. And this one tries to do so, but it does not succeed. The scenes of the most important characters are scattered throughout the movie, and it's really hard to focus on all of them. So you either watch it again more carefully (the movie runs 200 minutes), or you are left biased.
