Mark, and list, freely licensed films and legal downloads

It would be cool if Filmaster could be inspired by how Flickr marks CC-licensed photos and did something like that for CC-licensed films (although preferably display the license a little more prominently) (e.g. Nasty Old People, , with a link to where one could read more about the licensing of the movie and where one could download it.

On he same note: Movies where the maker of the movie has stated publicly that she/he doesn't mind that people download the films, both films that are officially released for free download/stream (e.g. Done the Impossible, The Hunt For Gollum) and those who are not (e.g. Man from Earth, Michael Moore's films, Done etc.), should also be marked as such, with a link to where to download it (and a link to the statement from the maker of the movie).

In both these cases you could maybe also make a deal with the creators to place a donate-button on the films page here on Filmaster.

I'm not talking about just a few extra links in the link-section, but something distinct so you can see in a glance that this is a freely licensed work, and/or that it is available for free (semi)legally.

And also a searchable archive of all of these films would be great

First step would be to mark those films in some way. Perhaps the easiest way would be to tag them with "Creative Commons". Then we could easily see a list of such films under Creative Commons

- it looks like someone already had this idea as a few movies are tagged with thiis label.

Then, we could recognize this tag and display a special icon linking to the Creative Commons site or a special page on Filmaster explaining what it means and why it is so cool :)

Donate button... perhaps when we grow a bit bigger. For now it probably would not be of great benefit to the film creators.
