This page describes the license of the user-generated content. If you are looking for the license of the code, please go to filmaster.org, the developer's portal.

All the user-contributed content on Filmaster.com (namely: user reviews, forum posts, user-contributed film descriptions) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Attribution 3.0 (license text here), which basically means that you can:

• copy, distribute, display, and perform the work published on the website,
• to make derivative works basing on the work found here.

Attribution means that you must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work), i.e.:

• link back to the website where the content has been originally published (e.g. in case of reviews, link to the review page on author's blog at Filmaster),
• mention the website Filmaster.com as the original source, when publishing the work elsewhere,
• provide the name of the nickname of the author of the original article.

Additionally, for any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the license terms of this work. The best way to do this is with a link to this web page.

Exceptions

Note that any other content including film synopses, film cast, posters and the design of the website is licensed under regular copyright.

Additionally, film synopses fetched from Wikipedia are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License and so are all the changes made to those synopses by Filmaster users.
