Rio is bright, wholesome, colorful, charming, and full of heart. It's excellent music and characters make it even better!
A perfect adaptation of Harper Lee's novel. To Kill A Mockingbird's deep story, superb acting, and unforgettable characters make it a timeless and priceless experience for both readers and film buffs.
At certain times, The Next Three Days feels overdeveloped. Plenty of drama here but those who are looking for a conventional "breakout" movie may want to look elsewhere.
Rango is a great animated adventure filled with plenty of western flavor. Mystical, funny, and entertaining; Rango shines with an eye-catching look and feel with pleasing music.
I have not seen the original series, the spin-offs, nor the feature films. But after seeing J.J. Abrams vision of the Star Trek "origin" story, I am now a fan. 2009's Star Trek is an absolutely entertaining space adventure.
The Butterfly Effect does not reinvent the time-travel adventure story. In fact, it is rather formulaic. But it is still very entertaining to watch with solid characters and an intriguing story.
Pure entertainment. Surprisingly real yet "super" at the same time, Batman Begins is an outstanding origin story for Batman. Best superhero film of 2005.
Absolutely unnecessary and filled with WTF moments. RE: Afterlife is the franchise's last attempt to squeeze out $$$ from your wallet.
Saw 3D (aka Saw VII) is the most disappointing entry in the Saw franchise. It's only redeeming point is the "necessary closure" it provides for the series' characters and storyline.

Peter Jackson's King Kong is an exciting adventure ride. Thrilling sequences all over Skull Island but it gets pretty dull once they leave the island.
Avatar is visually mind-blowing and rich with highly believable mythology. Entertaining story and action. It suffers from a bit of predictability and a rather lengthy runtime.
Absolutely brilliant and perfectly executed. The Dark Knight is an intense and deep crime-drama cleverly disguised as a superhero movie.
Moderately paced and easy to watch. The Tourist is a slightly pleasing spy-drama. Nothing more and nothing less.
A bit of a letdown. The Green Hornet is an unmemorable action-comedy. Gimmicky action sequences and effects. Saw it in IMAX 3D and I've never seen Cameron Diaz so "wrinkly". But it still manages to be entertaining the first time you see it.
The Mist is terrifying in spite of its predictable storyline. The dynamic of the characters and the impending horror is thrilling. And it's ending is probably the most infuriating ending I've seen.
As thrilling and as good as Thomas Harris' book. The Silence of the Lambs is an excellent crime thriller spearheaded by Hopkins' iconic portrayal of Hannibal Lecter.
Secret of the Unicorn is an eye-popping, funny, briskly paced, and cleanly executed action-adventure film. A movie everyone can easily enjoy.
