Z początku czułem się tym filmem zawiedziony. Po pierwsze został mi zareklamowany jako western, a po drugie niektóre sceny wydawały mi się tak absurdalne i nieprawdopodobne, że aż komiczne.

This is Kieslowski's commentary on the commandment "You shall not commit adultery".
Adultery is seen as physical love lacking affection. It's sinfulness comes from the fact, that it actually kills the true love. True love is affectionate and rather than being physical is a state of mind.
Typical holywood drama. Boring characters and an overly dramatic plot. The historical part is lost.
