Interior life. How many people know what interior life is? Not many, in my experience, proportionally speaking. Interior life needs fuel, lots of it. Fuel can be religion, art, science, or simply contemplation. In fact contemplation is the root of interior life in my opinion; it takes different forms depending on the people. Céline has one of the most active interior life there is, albeit one with which I hardly relate: faith. But her life speaks to me, her interaction with other people has an echo in me. People like us go out and meet all those who don't believe in anything, who don't feel anything, who simply live. Céline does not live: she "hyper-lives". She makes love to life; she calls it god but it's just life seen by an enlightened spirit. Reality is too small for her, people are too small. When you feel life inside of you, when the universe beats inside of you, you become a stranger, you live in a parallel world people will call a dream, but it's you, it's your life, our life.
