In the Mood for Love (2000)
Tedious, I like a slow film, but as long as it has an interesting character you can care about, and a thought provoking story. This film has a collection of beautiful images, one after another for three hours. Yawn!
Old Joy (2006)
This film is really slow, beautiful, full of emotion and thoughts on nature and memories and age. A really special film in my heart. 8/10
The Hunger Games (2012)
So slow and boring. Nice shots of flowers, dresses, hair and make-up. But its internal timing seemed all wrong, first it was slow, almost in real time, then it suddenly sped up, jumping all over the shop, then seemed to drop back to real-time, but actually was still very unclear. Didn't enjoy it.
Very enjoyable, reminds me of the spaghetti westerns, very tongue in cheek and some great fight set pieces. Gary Oldman as usual plays a fantastic baddie. And nice twist to the end ;)
