I felt the film totally lacked any kind of tension or atmosphere, there seemed to be a real lack of character development and the action scenes were cause for a few sniggers which i'm sure wasn't the intention.
The suspiciously young bilingual criminal mastermind didn't seem very angry or devious when she was shouting which makes me think perhaps it was just badly cast. The 'disfigurement' the lead character was supposedly mean't to have been suffering from which was so bad it caused her to become an agoraphobic was barely there. When her house is broken into, the lead character didn't seem very scared for someone we are led to believe hasn't left her house for years.
I was disappointed after having met some of the talented crew members. The camera and lighting work was nothing short of impeccable, a league above the rest of the film and credit is due to the art crew/set designers who also did a fantastic job creating such a fascinating space.
